Wow! this one is all about flow. Feeling good and going with it! No resistance. just be. Inspired by a lovely friend who told me a story recently about flow.
Imagine a cork bobbing about in the water. in front of it is a wall. if the cork keeps hitting the wall the resulting energy it creates keeps it hitting the wall. If their is no "resistance" the cork can float on the flow and off it goes.
Speaking of flow As an astrological water sign with no less than 7 other water signs in my birth chart, I may have been given a birth message to go with the flow.
I like to imagine the universe as a sea of energy where all data is. That is everything that has ever been or will be and it is crying out to be discovered by us in a different kind of awareness. The way we affect this malleable energy is with our minds. The more we can practise being in a state of allowing and being the more effectively we can communicate with all of this.
I wonder if all this is why I find fascination with the cycles of the moon and the ebb and flow of the tides along with it? I love moon & stargazing. When the moon is full it is at it's best.
you know that each full moon has a different name dating back to the time of the American Indians. The tribes giving distinctive names to mark the seasons.
The July moon was known as the buck moon as all the deer's antlers pushed out of their foreheads in their velvety coverings at this time. Also known as thunder moon, July is the month most likely for thunderstorms. Last week when this moon rose, we did have thunderstorms of a dramatic variety. Hence this flowing painting.
If you are resisitng or in a time of change and transisition, try this little meditation:
be comfortable, put on soft music, turn of the phone, put DONOT DISTURB sign on the door.
close your eyes gently and imagine yourself as driftwood or that cork on a vast ocean of wonderful energy, feel yourself floating and drifting in it. where will it take you? what unknown shores do you end up on? what gifts do you find?
Have a fabulous day, remember you to just simply be.
